I was born in Wageningen,
The Netherlands, moved to Africa 
when I was 5 years old and then to Portugal a
couple of years later. 
Since then, I stopped moving and started to develop 
my
love for cultures, travelling and all types of art-form.


For the
last 20 years, I’ve gathered all my life experiences and focused 
that on my career, working as a multidisciplinary art-director, 
driven by good ideas and flawless
executions. 


I am now a
Creative Director, focusing on delivering excellent work,
 creating good and
strong relationship with clients and their brands.
 
I am also not afraid to get
my hands dirty, 
therefore I’m a true believer
 that hard work and good ideas run
together.


I'm an
Invited Professor at ESCS (Advertising public
University), 
where I
teach young minds to think creatively and to recognise
a good idea when they
see one.

VODAFONE


Christmas has become increasingly materialistic instead of being about joy, family and love. We created a Christmas storytelling line of commercials for Vodafone, reminding people the true spirit of the season.The other telecommunication brands followed, and every year there is a “Christmas-Ad-Battle”,&#38;nbsp;
where people are always waiting for the latest Vodafone ad. It became part of the Christmas tradition.&#38;nbsp;

LEYA
LEYA is one of Portugal’s biggest book publisher. 
Everybody has LEYA books in their bookshelves but still their awareness is not as high as it should be.During the COVID 19 pandemic, we came up with a simple way of showing in almost real time that every
commentator that appeared on TV was, without knowing, actually a LEYA (free) influencer.

Fixando is an online platform with specialists from all areas that you can hire for any of the 1200 jobs available.

The are the new player and needed fast awareness. 
We created a new line of communication, impactful, focused on what happens when you don't hire a specialist. 
That immediately established Fixando as a resourceful platform.

FRIZE

Frize is a natural sparkling water that comes from a spring near a small village in the north of Portugal.&#38;nbsp;
We made a mockumentary, where the wild animals (and eventually the whole village) stoped the filming crew&#38;nbsp;
from shooting a commercial that would show Frize’s natural origin.

Frize, Nature’s best kept secret.

For the print/OOH campaign, we dived into the natural origin of the water.
We made an intensive search for the local flora of the water’s origin - Vila Flor, in the North of Portugal.
Together with the science illustrator Carolina Maria, we created several themes that reflect the campaign’s moto:

It was 2020, right in the middle of COVID pandemic and people were forced to work remote, 
using programs such as Teams, Zoom and Skype.

OLX


OLX is an online classifieds platform.Back in 2012, they were a new player in the second-hand online market. 
Nobody knew them, but they wanted to become quickly
the most visited website in their category.

We created a communication plattform with a simple &#38;amp; strong visual gimmick and a claim: “If it’s worth x, OLX”

Results:
- it entered directly in the top 7 most visited sites (and still remains);
- in a couple of months it became the number 1 classifieds website (and still remains);
- it was one of the most recalled campaigns in 2012/2013;
- the campaign was adapted to Bulgaria, Angola and Mozambique.

SAGRES
Sagres beer: one of the main sponsors of the Portugal football national team.The team faced a real challenge: as the reining European Champions they had
to try to win the World Cup 2 years later.  People say you should not change a winning team, 
so with that in mind we created a campaign where we ask people to do exactly what they
did 2 years before, during the last successful Euro Cup. Sports superstition at it's best.
